Shoe Shine Boyšt. ogledov:872Baba (my maternal grandfather) loved to build make-believe forts for me, using rope and blankets. Here I am with a fort, but I seem to be preoccupied with the shining of shoes. I think the radio (is that what it is?) in the background is amazing.

Philco Model 20 Radiošt. ogledov:142We purchased this in New York City, but then moved it back to England. As it's made to work on U.S. electricity, not much joy of picking up the BBC on this 1930's radio. But we had fun taking this photograph.
