Cathy In Sunglassesvu 217 foisIt's a Bank Holiday week-end, and yet it's sunny? I have a new wide angle lens and I've been experimenting. The lens allows me to get quite close -- but it does strange things to your nose! Whitecroft, April 30 2005

Big Hands in the Marriottvu 214 foisI took a photography course, run at the Marriott Airport Hotel in Manchester. Bless Marjorie --- she drove me up, and read magazines and newspapers while I attended the two-day course. I took this photo with my wide-angle lens while we were waiting for the Eurovision Song Contest.

Me -- At Lunch in Bra, Italyvu 482 foisWe went to lunch in Bra, Italy (I liked the name). While we waited for our food, Marjorie and I played around with my ultra-wide angle lens. I'm not sure this photograph of me is all that flattering: I don't think I will be using it when it's time to renew my passport!

Statue of Liberty from the Deck of the QE2vu 221 foisArriving in New York City by large ocean liner is thrilling. This was a warm spring day, April 1991. It was the first crossing of the year for the QE2 and we were a day late because we encountered 55 foot waves in the North Atlantic. The Statue of Liberty is in the distance.
