A glorious, sunny day so Marjorie and I took Missy and Ronan walking in Lord's Wood -- our private, 17 acre woodland. We kept them on the lead because there are sheep in the next field, and while Lord's Wood is fenced, we didn't know if it was Rottweiler-proof.

Here are a small portion of the logs cut down in the woodland, awaiting pick-up by the sawmill. Apparenty the logs are used to make the corrugation inside a piece of cardboard. Marjorie looks small next to the pile of logs.

Some of the Trees Cut Down in Lord's Wood736 mol gekuckt ginnAll of the trees are cut down in accordance with our Woodland Grant Scheme, and under the supervision of our forestry consultant. It's surprising how much more light this has brought into the woodland. I understand that this will help the flora on the forest floor to thrive.
