Wisteria - Whitecroft849 viewsI've always been disappointed by our Wisteria vine. It seems to bloom late (if at all) and then it's not very nice. I think we made the mistake of putting it on a north-facing wall. This year, 2004, the flowers were the best I've seen. But still not as good as others I've seen. Perhaps 2005?

I particularly liked all of the extension cords and power cables. I couldn't plug my laptop in at my desk in my suite, but there were plenty of plugs in the lobby for the illuminated bottles.

Helicopter Overhead844 viewsTapa started barking the other night, and when he and I looked outdoors, there was a helicopter hovering across the street, pointing its searchlight about. It then went down our track, and away past the back field. I learned the next morning that there had been police cars and dogs chasing someone. The fugitive tried to get over our gate -- but the top is electrified (to keep foxes out). This is a photo of the helicopter.
