Marmadukes Luxury Hotel and the Four Poster Bed389 mol gekuckt ginnFor some reason the management or decorator at Marmadukes Luxury Hotel thought the four poster bed (designed, apparently, by the guy who designed the beds in the Harry Potter movies) was the most important thing in the room. It filled the room. In fact, one of the four posts actually went up and into the antique chandelier. You couldn't use the single bedside lamp: it was behind a non-retractable curtain. Marjorie trying to read in the dark, in this hotel-from-Hell.

The Broken Water Meter389 mol gekuckt ginnWe had a leak at a pig trough. Pavel couldn't find a way to turn off the water to the trough, so turned off all of our water. When he tried to turn it back on, he broke off the valve next to our water meter. Severn Trent came along and painted a big blue arrow and gave us some bottles of water. The pile of blocks was to try to hold down the lid to the water meter/valve.
