Marjorie Supervising the Removal of a Treevu 624 foisThe trees are apparently cut down, and then dragged by tractor to the main "road" that runs through Lord's Wood. They are then taken to the consolidation area, where they await pick-up by the truck from the sawmill.

Sewage Outfall -- Woodman's Cottagevu 604 foisThis is raw sewage, and it's coming into the ditch on our track -- our access to Lord's Wood. We have called this to the attention of the Malvern Hills District Council, and they have called it to the attention of the owner of Woodman's Cottage. But here, on the evening of September 19, 2005, it still pours. Fortunately, we can safely walk on the other side of the track.

Looking Northward to Lord's Woodvu 603 foisThe brick chicken coop (with metal leaning on its eastern wall) is shown. This should be the property line. A clump of bushes is shown just past the building, also part of the old fence line. The new post and rail wooden fence has been installed too far to the east (right in this photograph).
