British Airways Jet Taking Off from Heathrow928 زيارةWe were at the 2006 Wag and Bone Show at Windsor Great Park, which (I suppose) is tecnically part of Windsor Castle. The park is in the flight path of Heathrow, with planes flying overhead every few minutes.

Marjorie With a Tank at the Museum in Ho Chi Minh City, Viet Nam919 زيارةWe read about this museum and were curious. We had to specifically ask our guide to take us. There was nobody else there. The whole museum was dusty and forgotten, something left over (barely) from another time, another place. I'd be surprised if it's still there.

Marjorie at the Hotel Metropole, Hanoi909 زيارةHanoi hadn't welcomed many tourists when we visited. We had reservations at another hotel -- built by Cubans -- and it was awful. We learned that the Hotel Metropole had just been refurbished and it was day one of its "soft" opening. We were there in a flash. Even in Hanoi Marjorie managed to fill a shopping bag.

Marjorie's Corvette in Bruge895 زيارةWe thought it would be fun to drive the new Corvette to Switzerland to pick up a new Bolex movie camera. We spent the night in Brugge (Belgium), the "Venice of the North." We parked the car along side one of the canals, in front of our hotel.
