Marjorie at a Roadside Restaurant in Viet Namšt. ogledov:604We just stopped by the side of the road, and this "restaurant" was in essentially a tent. We had a delicious meal, and didn't get sick. And then we go to La Mamounia in Morocco, pay a fortune for our room and meals, and get food poisoning. Ironic.

Marjorie With a Tank at the Museum in Ho Chi Minh City, Viet Namšt. ogledov:589We read about this museum and were curious. We had to specifically ask our guide to take us. There was nobody else there. The whole museum was dusty and forgotten, something left over (barely) from another time, another place. I'd be surprised if it's still there.

Marjorie at the Hotel Metropole, Hanoišt. ogledov:586Hanoi hadn't welcomed many tourists when we visited. We had reservations at another hotel -- built by Cubans -- and it was awful. We learned that the Hotel Metropole had just been refurbished and it was day one of its "soft" opening. We were there in a flash. Even in Hanoi Marjorie managed to fill a shopping bag.
