The Concorde in Aquaba, Jordan1020 x angesehenFor my 40th Birthday (1989), Marjorie gave me a trip to Jordan on the Concorde. We started in Aquaba, with an overnight visit to Petra, and then took Concorde to Amman. While there, we went to the Dead Sea, and also road on an old Turkish steam railroad and had a picnic in the desert.

People I Don't Know, Somewhere in the Med1019 x angesehenI took this picture when we were on our Windstar cruise in the Mediterranean. I don't know where this is, or who these people are. This is just a small part of an otherwise boring picture, mostly showing unattractive rocks and an unremarkable cove. But these people look so happy.

The Laurels on Selma Avenue - Hollywood1018 x angesehenWhen Marcia and I were first married (1971) we lived at The Laurels at 8017 Selma Avenue in Hollywood --- at the time near Schwab's Pharmacy on Sunset Boulevard. Our apartment was in the upper right hand corner of this California pink building. When we drove by it in 2001 --- some 30 years later --- nothing had changed.
