J. Causs Mirror - Candlestick Centrepiece707 viewsWe purchased this in Buenos Aires, Argentina about ten years ago for the New York apartment. As we've sold the NYC apartment, this young lady doesn't really fit into Whitecroft -- so we've put her on eBay. Marjorie and I had fun taking this photograph: how do you get the mirror to look reflective, but not reflect the camera, ceiling, lights, etc.

Marjorie at the Hotel Metropole, Hanoi707 viewsHanoi hadn't welcomed many tourists when we visited. We had reservations at another hotel -- built by Cubans -- and it was awful. We learned that the Hotel Metropole had just been refurbished and it was day one of its "soft" opening. We were there in a flash. Even in Hanoi Marjorie managed to fill a shopping bag.

The Compost Heap and Kissing Gate707 viewsThis is in the corner of the farm, along a public footpath that runs on our property. As it's now sunny we're removing the accumulation of compost and using it to fill holes and valleys on our various fields.
