Three Old Gentlemanšt. ogledov:824These three old gentlemen --- Batman, Brad, and McVit --- are all that's left from our small herd of alpacas. We decided, after our visit to Peru, that nobody in their right mind would pay �4,000 or more for an animal that has one cria a year (if you're lucky) and can produce enough fibre for a �45 sweater each season. But they sure are cute.

Gucci On Her Way Homešt. ogledov:824Gucci had a walk this morning, and I think when Marjorie wanted to walk her to the car for her trip home, she thought, "Not another walk." And if a bull terrier doesn't want to move, they don't move.

The Mine in Dartmouthšt. ogledov:824There is a big red mine on the sea front in Dartmouth with a coin slot. The brass plaque says that all funds go to The Shipwrecked Fisherman & Mariners Royal Benevolent Society, but the mine seemed full. As the mine is about a meter in diameter --- if it's full of coins it must be holding a treasure trove.
