The Top of our Leylandii Hedge -- Ready for the Bonfirešt. ogledov:824Paul Doyle and team trimmed the top off one of our leylandii hedges, bringing much more light into our front garden. Coincidentally, we've been asked to build a large bonfire for a photo shoot. Here's the "cuttings" waiting to be moved from our track to the site of the bonfire.

Bracken With A Poorly Pawšt. ogledov:823Bracken had just been on his 1 1/2 hour afternoon walk, and we took him for a run around the garden. He was fine, and then suddenly started to favour his left paw. We checked it carefully and no sign of pain or distress. In about an hour he was fine -- so our theory is that it was stinging nettle.

Georgešt. ogledov:823Waiting for me to throw the float toy into the pool. Of course George doesn't want to go into the pool, so he runs around waiting for the waves to bring the toy to the side --- where he can then just grab it.

Visit to New Airportšt. ogledov:823Went to the Open day at the New Airport building Sun Oct 9th 2005, here I am sitting on one of the new lounges. It is a lovely building but still lots of work to be done. Flights start to come in to the new building about Oct 18th

Marjorie at the Hotel Metropole, Hanoišt. ogledov:823Hanoi hadn't welcomed many tourists when we visited. We had reservations at another hotel -- built by Cubans -- and it was awful. We learned that the Hotel Metropole had just been refurbished and it was day one of its "soft" opening. We were there in a flash. Even in Hanoi Marjorie managed to fill a shopping bag.
