A Pig? Or A Hippo?št. ogledov:664This sow is about 10 or 11 years old. She's a cross between an Iron Age pig (itself a cross between a Tamworth and a wild boar) and a Gloucester Old Spot. While she looks incredibly fat, she's the fastest pig we have --- bar none. There is no chance, zero, of catching her.

NBC had an outdoor television studio near-by (for the Today Show), hence there was this big TV screen. We had lunch at the Cafe San Carlo -- it was so horrible that we sent it back. The young couple at the table near us, from Malta, had the same problem. When in Torino, avoid the Cafe San Carlo!

Looking Down The Track To Lord's Woodšt. ogledov:664The morning of September 23 2006. With the brambles cleared out, you can see how the fence (the two horizontal posts) comes out from the hedge, and then carries on down the track to the north, towards Lord's Wood itself. The large metal shed, built without planning permission, is also encroaching upon our land.

(Noise monitoring equipment installed by the Council did not show any noise offences.) This small story talks about Hattie's five week visit to Lucies Farm, the subject of an upcoming "It's Me Or The Dog" programme.
