Martley Parish Church cemetery653 пъти видянаOld gravestones are used as a retaining wall for the soil around this tree. I realise that "topple" is a problem with gravestones in British cemeteries, but using old stones as a wall seems a bit unfortunate to me.

Wisteria - Whitecroft652 пъти видянаI've always been disappointed by our Wisteria vine. It seems to bloom late (if at all) and then it's not very nice. I think we made the mistake of putting it on a north-facing wall. This year, 2004, the flowers were the best I've seen. But still not as good as others I've seen. Perhaps 2005?

WMF Gondolier Centrepiece652 пъти видянаI am told it's quite unusual to have the original glass bowl with this piece. The bowl is quite delicate, and a strange shape --- and it has lasted (with just a few chips on the edges) for over 100 years. And at least two trips across the Atlantic. We purchased this piece in Buenos Aires.
