Marjorie and An Orange JuiceПросмотров: 766Marjorie giving me Stink Eye: "Put that camera down. Why are you always taking pictures of me?" I belive this was in Aqaba Airport, Jordan, in 1989. Marjorie gave me a trip to Jordan on the Concorde for my 40th Birthday. Our first stop was Aqaba, where they had a reception for us. Most passengers had a lot to drink, and there were a lot of poorly passengers on the hot bus in the later afternoon.

Whitecroft DeckingПросмотров: 766Third time lucky? The first deck was built of teak and painted with special marine deck paint. It was incredibly slippery. The second deck was built of soft wood and stained, but the paint kept peeling off (you can see the latest coat on the right hand side -- the grey paint applied in 2003). The new decking is guaranteed for 25 years. Installed in August 2005, so we have until August 2030. I will be 81.
