The Tewkesbury Ferry765 katseluaThe other day, when coming home on the M50, I spotted a sign to the ferry. The ferry? Today we went to have a look, and there really is a ferry that runs several times a day from this beautiful spot on the River Avon (actually near the motorway) to Tewkesbury. That's Bredon Hill in the background.

Marjorie in Sestriere765 katseluaWe had a nice lunch in Sestiere, and then we walked (I slowly hobbled) around the small "city centre" to look at the ski clothing and souvenier shops.

Japanese Spitz765 katseluaAccording to their hand-out at Crufts, the Japanese Spitz is "affectionate, companionable. Can be slightly chary at first meeting with strangers." This one was gorgeous.
