Westbrook Settles InПросмотров: 3690We picked up Westbrook Peter Lad 1st on May 18, 2005. It was his birthday --- he's 11 weeks old. We had an uneventful ride down from his original home in Little Hereford, and he's settled in nicely. We have him in a large stable until he grows a bit larger and can be put out with the bigger pigs.

Marjorie and the Tamworth LadyПросмотров: 3589Marjorie has shown great wisdom and has worn white trousers out to visit the piggy wiggy. Naturally, the pig's reaction was to coat her nose with mud and then want to show Marjorie how much she is loved. Kissy, kissy . . .

Underwater PigПросмотров: 3577To take the swimming Tamworth pig photo, the pig had to be gently pushed into the heated pool. Marjorie, in full SCUBA gear and with an underwater camera and strobe, waited for the pig to, er, fall. I was surprised at how quickly the pig sank. He then soared to the surface, like a submarine in a Sean Connery movie that's blown its ballast.

Aberdeen Angus Steers Arriving - Mar 3 2005Просмотров: 3544With the increased demand for Scottish | Kobe beef, we have purchased six new purebred Aberdeen Angus steers to add to our own existing herd. The steers were raised by David Coward in Mere, Wiltshire -- here's a photograph of their arrival. Their first taste of beer, and their first massage, awaits.
