Marjorie and Cranberry1096 x angesehenWe hatched Cranberry ourselves last summer. When the other turkeys came (we bought them from a hatchery) Cranberry looked horrified. After a few weeks she became friends with them, but at Christmas they went away, one at a time. Cranberry looked so lonely, so we bought her 10 friends. But she seems to prefer our company to that of the other turkeys. She comes running after us, and then crouches down to be rubbed.1 Kommentar(e)

Joe in his favourite place -- the small stream1096 x angesehenJoe loves mud. The more of it, the merrier. The small stream that runs through our property was a source of constant enjoyment for Joe.

Missy1096 x angesehenVery laid back. Once she realised she wasn't going to drown (!!) she was happy to float and take it easy. The gentle current in the pool got her to paddle, but not overdo it.1 Kommentar(e)

Award Winning Chicken1095 x angesehenThe gorgon who yelled at me about taking photos in the poultry tent thought that I would "stress" the birds. I would suggest that putting them in a small cage in a hot tent filled with other unfamiliar chickens and ducks and even turkeys, and then add thousands of people, would stress them more than a 1/100 exposure. Does this guy look stressed?
