Craig Out For A Strollšt. ogledov:624A preview of things to come? :-( I'd been immobilised for about 14 hours, injected with morphine and other goodies, and "log rolled" from gurney to CAT scan tray. This is my first time up and about, complete with nurse and walker. On the way home, I went "ouch, ouch" when Marjorie even drove over a tiny pebble in the road. I am a true Princess. May 5 2006

Front Hedge at Whitecroftšt. ogledov:624There's a hole in the road near our hedge, and in the winter it fills with salt water. That splashes on the hedge, and has killed the lower branches. We've installed a small gate her to give us access to the pond area and uppermost part of the garden.

Sleeping with the Dogsšt. ogledov:624A "Three Dog Night." Barney has his head on Marjorie's lap, Mana is in his favourite position on the couch, and Tapa is in pole position on the ground. The Texans say, "If you lie down with dawgs you'll get fleas."

Michaelmas Daisies - Whitecroft Gardenšt. ogledov:622I'd never even heard of a Michaelmas Daisy until I spotted a road sign in Malvern one day pointing to the National Michaelmas Daisy Collection. We actually paid a visit and discovered that these daisies bloom in the autumn. And, to our surprise, we have Michaelmas daisies in our garden. Here are some just outside our front lounge, blooming in October.

Burj Al Arab Hotelšt. ogledov:622The Burj Al Arab Hotel towering over the large swimming pool at the Madinat Jumeirah Hotel. There were more life guards per square inch at this pool than I'd ever seen.
