The Laurels on Selma Avenue - Hollywood935 x angesehenWhen Marcia and I were first married (1971) we lived at The Laurels at 8017 Selma Avenue in Hollywood --- at the time near Schwab's Pharmacy on Sunset Boulevard. Our apartment was in the upper right hand corner of this California pink building. When we drove by it in 2001 --- some 30 years later --- nothing had changed.

As we've sold the NYC apartment, this young lady doesn't really fit into Whitecroft -- so we've put her on eBay. Marjorie and I had fun taking this photograph: how do you get the mirror to look reflective, but not reflect the camera, ceiling, lights, etc.
