Craig By The Park Sheraton Hotel - Thanksgiving 19662588 katseluaI had a term paper to write --- I was a freshman at Renesselaer --- so I borrowed a typewriter in the hotel's office. They used it for typing telegrams (remember telegrams?) so all of the lower-case letters had been filed off. I had to type my paper ALL IN CAPITAL LETTERS. Note the Horn and Hardart automat on the corner in the background.

Tapa, Marjorie, and Kiko Reading Newspaper2570 katseluaWe play musical couches with the Bull Terriers. Sometimes they like to sit on our right, sometimes on our left. Sometimes in our lap. We are currently in the Tapa on our right, Kiko on our left mode. For now --- for a minute.

Duilio Trinca and Sergio in Portofino, Italy2538 katseluaMarjorie and I were on our Mediterranean cruise (holiday!). We were also in the process of starting Transax SpA in Italy (bad move). Duilio and Sergio drove to Portofino to have lunch with us on our port stop. I've enlarged the photo to see what paperwork they're holding --- it's an application for a Corporate American Express Card. A lasting memory of Duilio and Sergio --- in a restaurant, with a food cart and credit card application.

Kea in the Jeep2503 katseluaKea loved to leap up into the back of the Jeep (or, before that, the Nissan Prairie) because other dogs couldn't get up there -- and Kea could watch everything that was happening.

Kiko Wearing A Mud Suit2488 katseluaKiko loves to drop his ball in water, and then try to get it. In the house, he puts it under glass shelf at the bottom of an end table. Today he outdid himself: into the little stream that runs through our property. Because it's been dry, the stream is mainly mud. It looks like Kiko is wearing a mud suit.

First Floor Lobby - Andaz Liverpool Street Hotel, London2432 katseluaWhen we returned to the hotel at about 11:30 PM on Sunday, there were no restaurants that were open. We were told room service was the only choice. We didn't want to have dinner in our room, so they suggested the balcony area shown in this photograph, just beneath the dusty palm trees. Up a long flight of stairs --- very difficult for me to climb.

Xenon for Torino - Piazza Castello - Jenny Holzer2427 katseluaTorino has a programme called "Luci d'Artista." Jenny Holzer uses powerful Xenon lights to project "her words with the intention of contrasting ignorance and violence with sweetness and moral courage." The English didn't make much sense to Marjorie and me, but the castle was impressive.

Bull Terriers - with only one cushion2275 katseluaThis is what happens when we only bought one Cozies cushion (testing it out first) and have two bull terriers. Needless to say we had to rush out and order a second --- www.cozies.net. The cushions are great: made of Dupont Cordura, so quite strong.
