Power Cables in Our Track709 زيارةOn the afternoon of August 23 2006 there was a huge downpour punctuated with thunder and lightning. Then the power went off. Normally the cause of an electrical failure is somewhere distant and unknown. But on the 23rd the downed cables were in our track. Repairing the cables looked like it would take two weeks --- but it took about six hours.

Spoiled Kiko709 زيارةKiko managed to get himself under the pillows, and then relaxing with his head on a cushion. A fluke? Nope. He does this every evening. He likes to sleep with his head on a pillow. Is he a dog, or a kid in a dog suit?

Marjorie Comforting Kiko709 زيارةKiko is waiting to be seen by the veterinarian at the Animal Health Trust in Newmarket. He had an MRI for a suspicious dark patch in his lung. The biopsy showed it was necrotic tissue, but apparently not a tumor.

McDonald's Fresh Garden Salad708 زيارةPhotographed on our table at the McDonald's on Hylton Road, Worcester. This is the second salad: Marjorie couldn't eat the first one. The helpful staff said this one had been "freshly made." It appears to be made from old ingredients. It certainly doesn't look like the salad pictured on their website, or at the counter.
