Kiko and His Yellow BallПереглядів: 1777Kiko loves to play ball. He invents all sorts of complicated games and strategies, and he prefers to try them out with Marjorie rather than me. He knows that he's not allowed to bring the ball into the house (only because he will continue to chew it, and will slobber all over the place) so he makes the decision of when to leave the ball outside and come indoors. Looks like he snuck indoors today with the yellow ball.

Emily, Ma, and Me - Rensselaer Campus, Thanksgiving 1966Переглядів: 1771Thanksgiving of my freshman year at Rensselaer --- a long way away from home in Honolulu. The family came to visit. Here we are on campus: Emily Walsh (my aunt, married to my father's brother Dinny), "Ma" (my maternal grandmother), and me. I look tremendously happy.

Whitecroft - Our First YearПереглядів: 1751We moved to Whitecroft in March 1989. This photo was taken in the summer of 1990. the lawn looks particuarly terrible --- it had ridges and valleys that we were told were a remnant from the Midlands Land Management System.

Tapa and new pet foodПереглядів: 1736We tried to get Tapa to be one of our dog food "models." We set up the seamless background, and then put down the bowl of food. Of course, he became food-focused. But also kept turning his backside towards the camera. This is one of the only photos we were able to get of his head. We have lots and lots of Tapa's tail.

Anticipation ...........Переглядів: 1734Our first day at Photokina 2008. Looks like it's gonna be crowded but actually it was smaller than in previous years and we only needed one day to get round. It was looking crowded because it didn't actually open until 10 a.m. and we got there too early.
