Christmas at 1080 Makaiwa Street1251 x angesehenThis looks like one of those self-timer photographs, were Baba set the camera and then ran in (almost) into the frame. Baba (on his knees), me, my mother, Nana, Bappy, Neil Moore, and my aunt Birdie. Photographed at 1080 Makaiwa Street, circa 1956.

Craig and Marjorie Before Dinner1250 x angesehenI just held the camera out with one hand and pressed the shutter. My foot really hurt on this whole trip, but if we didn't take the trip ("bought" with British Airways miles) by December 1, we were told we'd lose it. So I took golf carts everywhere, or sat by the pool. Easy, peasy in Dubai.

My Steak Sandwich at "It's All About Me" - Ironbridge1249 x angesehenWe stopped in Ironbridge to have lunch. The name of this restaurant caught our attention, and it had a gorgeous sunny terrace overlooking the Severn. We ordered steak sandwiches. This is mine --- the largely uncooked fat was on the side of the steak. I couldn't bite through the steak because of this large streak of fat. When we asked to have the meals re-cooked, we were told our re-orders would be put in the queue behind other diners. We left.

Marjorie Walking Kiko in Broadway1247 x angesehenI like this photo. I was about to discard it because Kiko's head is hidden, but then I noticed how Tapa's photo on the handbag really replaces Kiko's head. Gave me a good laugh. Photographed outside the Lygon Arms in Broadway, in the Cotswolds, in July 2005.

Poi Lavosh, Poi Dinner Rolls & Lomi Salmon Cream Cheese1239 x angesehenThese were great products. The lavosh (Armenian flat bread) was covered with macadamia nuts. The dinner rolls were light and fluffy. And the lomi lomi salmon cream cheese ... onolicious.
