Gate to the Stable YardПросмотров: 606This five bar gate has been a nightmare for us. We had it automated, but that never really worked. The prevailing wind seems to "hit" the gate and damage the automation mechanics, and recent (October 2008) repairs didn't last more than a few days. We've had people stand at the gate and watch us, like looking at a zoo exhibit. We are installing larger gates this coming week.

The Electric Meter ReaderПросмотров: 605The electric meter reader arrived and couldn't find the meter. I had to hobble down the track and show him that it's a little door that's part of the fence. Fortunately, he had a key to open the door. (We've asked Scottish Power for a key about a dozen times, and they keep sending us the wrong key.) By the way, doesn't everybody take a photograph of the meter reader guy?
