A Caribineri (Policeman) in Cesana Pariol1118 x angesehenThe cashier at a restaurant near our hotel observed, "We thought we'd be invaded by tourists. Instead, we were invaded by the police." Most caribineri were glum and unfriendly. This gentleman, however, was different. He even helped me to my seat, and carried my camera.

Pan Am StratoCruiser Aircraft - Honolulu Airport1106 x angesehenI remember flying from Honolulu to Bangkok, most of it via StratoCruiser. We dressed for the flight. There was a lounge downstairs, which we reached via a spiral staircase. We flew Honolulu - Wake - Guam - Manila - Hong Kong and then on to Bangkok.
