Marjorie Showing Off Her Tattoo644 زيارةA warm summer afternoon in the garden, Whitecroft. Taking a brief break -- we spent the day happily chasing dogs around the garden, playing with the hose, etc. Don't get to do much of that in England!

Me Sitting Outside The Ticket Office with Diego644 زيارةWe never would have found this small porta-cabin --- the main ticket office for the opening ceremony of the Olympics --- were it not for Diego. The ticket folks brought me a chair and put me on some gravel (at least in the sunshine) while they tried to sort out the buraucracy. Although we paid 30 Euros for courier service, and sent four e-mail messages and made four telephone calls, they "forgot" to print our two tickets.

Marjorie, Dan Quayle, and Me644 زيارةHow relaxed we all look? This was on a production line. Dan Quayle (the former VP of the United States) stood still, and we were paraded in to have our photos taken. Once the shutter was clicked, he shook our hands while --- at the same time --- pulling us out of the picture so the next folks could slot in.

Afternoon Tea With Bull Terriers643 زيارةKea and Pau enjoying afternoon tea at the Lygon Arms in Broadway, along with Sarah Heward and me, circa 1996. Excuse the bad exposure --- I've done what I can to fix this up in Photoshop. We look so unhappy!
