| Lucies FarmAt Lucies Farm -- in sunny Worcestershire, England -- we raise pedigree Aberdeen Angus and Highland cattle in the traditional Japanese Kobe style to produce quality beef. We also have an elite dog resort, catering to a handful of exclusive dogs. And we make a range of dog food and dog treats -- even haddock ice cream and a doggie birthday cake. |

Joe Viewed From Above806 x bekekenWith it so dark and wet outside, it was difficult to take a long shot of Joe. When I got down on my knees to take an eye-level shot, he was all over me like a cheap suit. This photo is taken from above: Joe is watching the aniseed cookie I'm holding (awkwardly) over my head.

Maxim Magazine June 2005 Article4412 x bekekenDavid Whitehouse, a reporter from Maxim Magazine spent a night in our dog hotel. As this is a bit of a lad's magazine, the article is not accurate reporting --- and not for the easily offended. The pictures are good, and part of the article is quite funny. (David was fed a Kobe beef meatloaf for dinner and ate it all. He had to turn the heat down in the middle of the night because he was too warm...) This is a 1,883kb PDF file.

Ross of Bien Esk With A Security Guard262 x bekekenRoss in his temporary pen (dressing room?) behind the Manchester Opera House with one of his security guards. The Festival organisers were wonderful at being sure that Ross had ample security --- during live performances he had at least ten security guards in the alley behind the Opera House.

The Old and The New231 x bekekenThe magnolia tree in our front garden -- a new blossom, and an old. The magnolia is an ancient genus that evolved before bees appeared. The flowers are designed to be pollinated by beetles. This is a Southern Magnolia, or Magnolia grandiflora.

Sunapee Harbor - New Hampshire4051 x bekekenWe took the dogs for a Memorial Day drive. In the middle of the countryside we saw a small sign pointing to Sunapee Harbor. Although miles from the sea, we found this lovely "seaside" New England harbor, complete with a seafood restaurant on the water. Gorgeous.28 mei 2012
