The Tamworth One267 mol gekuckt ginnOne of our three new Tamworth ladies. The grass is still green --- they've only been on it for three days. In three weeks it will be a sea of mud. As they've been raised by the City of Gloucester in a "petting zoo" environment, they're very easy to handle.

The Tamworth Two331 mol gekuckt ginnGood Friday, 2004. These two Tamworth pigs --- sisters --- recently arrived at Lucies Farm from the City of Gloucester. They are enjoying the green grass of spring, but won't take long to convert it into mud.

Marjorie and the Viet Cong in the Cu Chi Tunnels339 mol gekuckt ginnThe Cu Chi tunnels, a 75-mile-long underground maze where thousands of fighters and villagers could hide, are at the top of the list of tourist spots for Ho Chi Minh City. Marjorie was able to crawl through the lower levels (I'm too big). There was also this "photo op" spot, complete with fake rice bowls.

Ho Chi Minh City "Museum of War Remnants" with a Helicopter244 mol gekuckt ginnFrom the New York Times of July 1999: "The city's Museum of War Remnants, with its displays of captured weapons and its catalog of horrors, only recently amended its name, with changing times, from the Museum of American War Crimes." We were there before it changed its name. Our guide didn't want to take us, and felt very awkward about it all.

Marjorie With a Tank at the Museum in Ho Chi Minh City, Viet Nam213 mol gekuckt ginnWe read about this museum and were curious. We had to specifically ask our guide to take us. There was nobody else there. The whole museum was dusty and forgotten, something left over (barely) from another time, another place. I'd be surprised if it's still there.

Tamworth In His Hoggles302 mol gekuckt ginnPhotographs of our pigs wearing Hoggles were printed in the Telegraph, Independent, Daily Record, Daily Star, Metro and on the front page of the Worcester Evening News. We had a visit from local BBC radio, and the pig was mentioned on the BBC Today Show and again on Chris Evans' BBC drive-time programme.
