My Steak Sandwich at "It's All About Me" - Ironbridge892 пъти видянаWe stopped in Ironbridge to have lunch. The name of this restaurant caught our attention, and it had a gorgeous sunny terrace overlooking the Severn. We ordered steak sandwiches. This is mine --- the largely uncooked fat was on the side of the steak. I couldn't bite through the steak because of this large streak of fat. When we asked to have the meals re-cooked, we were told our re-orders would be put in the queue behind other diners. We left.

Pan Am StratoCruiser Aircraft - Honolulu Airport576 пъти видянаI remember flying from Honolulu to Bangkok, most of it via StratoCruiser. We dressed for the flight. There was a lounge downstairs, which we reached via a spiral staircase. We flew Honolulu - Wake - Guam - Manila - Hong Kong and then on to Bangkok.

Arriving in New York City on the QE2 - April 1991220 пъти видянаThis panoramic photograph, taken with a Widelux camera from the top deck of the QE2, is now quite poignant because of the prominence of the two towers of the World Trade Center. We couldn't have imagined when we took this photograph on a warm spring day in April 1991 that just over a decade later both towers would be gone. In November 2008 the QE2 sails to Dubai where she will be permanently moored.

Sunapee Harbor - New Hampshire4289 пъти видянаWe took the dogs for a Memorial Day drive. In the middle of the countryside we saw a small sign pointing to Sunapee Harbor. Although miles from the sea, we found this lovely "seaside" New England harbor, complete with a seafood restaurant on the water. Gorgeous.28 Май 2012
