In Bed at 140 Dowsett Avenue1619 زيارةMe (on the left), Shauna (the baby), and Nana. My guess is late 1955. This isn't the best photograph -- no faces showing. I've included it anyway because I thought the bedside table is interesting. I love the old dial telephone, the 1950's shoji lamps. But my favourite thing is the bottle of lager and cigarettes. I never remember my grandmother drinking --- but larger! How images can be shattered through the magnification power of Adobe Photoshop.

Fig Tree - Whitecroft575 زيارةWe have what the gardeners call a "micro climate" at Whitecroft. It's near the boiler, and just beneath the exhaust fan from the kitchen. The fig tree loves it. Okay, it's not the sunshine of Turkey or Greece, but you take what warmth you can get here in sunny Worcestershire.

Sunapee Harbor - New Hampshire4290 زيارةWe took the dogs for a Memorial Day drive. In the middle of the countryside we saw a small sign pointing to Sunapee Harbor.
