Marjorie is looking in the little hatch, and from Marjorie's viewpoint you can see the piglets. Mother was calm and considerate throughout. For those who think pigs are dirty, look at how she gleams, and look at how clean she keeps her home.

Nana, Baba, and the Silversword1354 x bekekenThe only thing I know about this photograph of Nana and Baba is that it was taken at the top of Haleakala on Maui: that's the only place where silversword grows. There are other pictures in the same series featuring people I don't know. All seem to have the same logo on their caps. I tried zooming in on it, but couldn't make out what it was. Circa 1947 or so.
