Maxim Magazine June 2005 Article4497 x angesehenDavid Whitehouse, a reporter from Maxim Magazine spent a night in our dog hotel. As this is a bit of a lad's magazine, the article is not accurate reporting --- and not for the easily offended. The pictures are good, and part of the article is quite funny. (David was fed a Kobe beef meatloaf for dinner and ate it all. He had to turn the heat down in the middle of the night because he was too warm...) This is a 1,883kb PDF file.

The Canal Path745 x angesehenA bit overgrown along what I call "the canal path," so this photo doesn't really show the water. We had to put the temporary wire fence in (left of photograph) as the dogs kept going into the water and duck weed. I took this photo to show the garden centre our empty trellis on the right. We've had honeysuckle there (yuck), and roses that haven't grown well. Marjorie wants a purple flower we've seen in our rambling.

Craig in the Worcester Royal Infirmary292 x angesehenWith my bad Achilles' tendons, I managed to slip-and-fall in our own conservatory at midnight. I managed to limp to the couch, but at 3 AM I couldn't get up. Two ambulances later (they needed four people to lift me I was at the hospital. They did X-rays and CAT scans, and concluded that I had "soft tissue damage." Here I am, drinking a Diet Coke from one of those little cup things. May 5 2006
