Marjorie Floats in the Dead Sea -- Jordan481 x angesehenWe took an "afternoon dip" in the Dead Sea, 1989. Because of the high salinity it was impossible to do much more than float. And the salt irritated every small cut you didn't even know you had. When we got out, the soap wouldn't lather to wash off all of the salt.

We took a stock trailer and rented pick-up, and then headed to Torquay to pick up Lord Rannoch --- the bull --- from the stud farm. It was "crisp" in Padstow.
