Early November sunsetПереглядів: 203I was at my desk and Kiko barked (once) at the conservatory door to be let in. I looked over and he was bright red. I thought he'd fallen into some sort of paint, and then I saw he was red from the sunset. I got my camera and my cane and hobbled around the garden taking these photographs. I've lived at Whitecroft since 1989, and it was the most gorgeous sunset I've seen. Thanks, Kiko.

Magnolia Blossom - WhitecroftПереглядів: 341I love Magnolias. Great, huge, pure white flowers. It's a shame that they seem to fall apart so quickly, so it's hard to bring them in the house for a big floral display. (Unless there's some secret that only Southern belles learn, while drinking juleps.) This magnolia bud is in our large tree, Whitecroft, on a hot summer afternoon.

Sunapee Harbor - New HampshireПереглядів: 4289We took the dogs for a Memorial Day drive. In the middle of the countryside we saw a small sign pointing to Sunapee Harbor.
